Last Sunday, a very wise person told me that I need time to watch the grass grow. It is difficult to do this in the midst of start of year business but I actually managed to do this for part of the week. Wow, it was great!
This will be the last blog of this academic year... and what a year it has been. I would like to firstly thank all the staff at our wonderful school, they make the school what it is - they are a joy to work with. I would also like to thank all the parents for your support this year - it is a privilege to educate your children.
Well, the sunshine is bringing many happy times and we are delighted to inform you that our young gymnasts came 1st -again! Well done to Tabitha, Thomas, Penelope, Ivy, Ethan-you were absolute stars! Thank you to Mrs Luke and Mrs Davies for training the children and supporting them with their amazing routines.
Today was a lovely day. This morning, the sun was shining, some of our children were receiving their First Holy Communion and all was as it should be at st.Francis’. It was lovely to see so many people at church and we thank Mary Doran, Mrs Rossall, Father Sony, all parents and carers who have prepared the children for today and everyone who supports St.Francis Hill chapel. What a significant and very special Mass it was.
Please note that the mayoral service involving the choir is taking place at St. George’s Church on George’s Road (off Lune Street) in Preston NOT Church Street as stated in the letter. Information provided on Google is incorrect!
