Oops upside your head…
The title of this blog reflects the whole week. Why not dance at every opportunity when you are 2 years old? Yesterday rounded the week off with laughter, a conga and new 1970s dance moves. I like The Eagles earliest songs and Nat King Cole but music from the 70s makes me want to dance too! Fairsnape’s music lesson in the hall was interrupted by Pre-School’s conga. If you are going to do an unplanned conga you have to do it right and let everyone know about it. Making our own see saws has been a feature of outdoors and the children’s happiness has brought us great smiles.
I think the pictures say it all!
Games club on a Monday is going well and the children are brushing up on their Chess skills.
Beacon Class are thoroughly enjoying their keyboard lessons and are amazing us with their gymnastic skills. They enjoyed a visit to Our Lady’s to meet the Author of IT Girl.
Fairsnape are making aqueducts and have written brilliant stories based on a silent movie clip. Parlick are little stars and are writing exciting stories based on a tiger. They are exploring meaning and interpretation of pieces of art work and creating their own. Pendle are learning about Chinese New Year and there is a real buzz around school. Next week, Pendle will be making their own Terracotta Warriors using clay.
We are looking forward to the concert tomorrow. Every opportunity to perform is always welcome-as is any support for our school. You are all welcome to come and watch our choir and band perform in Goosnargh Village hall. The concert starts at 2.30pm.
Enjoy your weekend!
